Berg & Berg Colts Football Club aims to provide, for the community at large, a continuing provision for the enjoyment of playing football in an organized fashion.

The club has been providing youth football in the Basingstoke area for 36 years, and is one of the largest boys and girls’ football Clubs in the area offering almost 300 children from the age of 6 to 18 the opportunity to participate in locally organized football. The younger age groups 6 – 10 years participate in “small sided” games whilst the 11 – 18 years play “eleven-a-side.

” All our teams’ play in the Peter Houseman Youth League, which was founded by the former Chelsea player; our home venue is at Brighton Hill playing fields.

Our “Colts.” Team was formed in 1992 this is a name used when a particular age group has more than one team participating in the same league.

We actively encourage the involvement of parents in the running of the club and provide training courses for those interested in coaching, refereeing, or first aid. The Club has an active social life organizing a number of Social Events throughout the season.
